6. How to Enable Delivery Note in Tally Prime

Delivery Note is an optional Inventory Voucher. Before using it, you must enable Inventory Vouchers in Tally Prime.

Steps
  1. Open Tally Prime.
  2. Press F11 (Features).
  3. Select Inventory Features.
  4. Enable Use Tracking Numbers (Delivery/Receipt Notes).
  5. Press Ctrl + A to Save.
After enabling this feature, Delivery Note becomes available in Inventory Vouchers.
7. Steps to Create a Delivery Note
  1. Open Voucher Entry.
  2. Select Delivery Note.
  3. Select the Customer (Party Ledger).
  4. Choose the Sales Order (if available).
  5. Select the Stock Item.
  6. Enter the Quantity to be delivered.

  10. Press Ctrl + A to Save.
After creating the Delivery Note, the dispatched goods can later be converted into a Sales Voucher.
