Future Perfect Tense

Future Perfect Tense is used to describe an action that will be completed before a specific time in the future.

Note: Future Perfect Tense uses will have + V3
What is Future Perfect Tense?

Future Perfect Tense shows that an action will be completed before another future action or time.

✔ I will have completed my homework by 8 PM.
✔ She will have reached Delhi by tomorrow.
✔ They will have finished the project before the deadline.
Uses of Future Perfect Tense

Negative Sentence Structure

Negative sentences show that an action will not be completed before a specific future time.

Structure:

Subject + will not have + V3 + Object

✔ They will not have arrived by then.

Short Form:
will not = won't

Interrogative Sentence Structure

Interrogative sentences are used to ask questions about completed future actions.

Structure:

Will + Subject + have + V3 + Object?
